Saara Saraste
Saara aloitti tanssimisen Espoon tanssiopistossa kuusivuotiaana ja suoritti siellä tanssin laajan oppimäärän päättötyön vuonna 2014 pääaineena klassinen baletti. Sen jälkeen Saara on opiskellut Helsingin tanssiopistossa baletin ja nykytanssin lisäksi laaja-alaisemmin eri tanssilajeja.Hän oli osa Val Suarezin johtamaa Helsingin tanssiopiston workshop- ryhmää kaudella 2015-2016.
Kesällä 2015 Saara osallistui Trinity Labanin konservation kesäkurssille Lontoossa. Siellä häntä opettivat mm. Christophe Jeannot ja Casper Kornish. Saara on osallistunut myös Tero Saarisen ja Susanna Leinosen kursseille sekä ollut mukana eri tanssikatselmuksissa sekä -kilpailuissa Suomessa, kuten Kajaani dance sekä Performing arts. Tällä hetkellä Saara opiskelee Tampereen konservatoriolla tanssijan tutkintoa.
Saara started dancing at Espoo Dance Institute at the age of six. She graduated in 2014 from the same institute having classical ballet as her main subject. Since then she has continued her studies at Helsinki Dance Institute with ballet and contemporary dance as well as other styles. Beside the Helsinki Dance Institute Saara has worked in different kind of dance productions. She was a part of the Helsinki Dance Institute's workshop group in 2015-2016, taught by Val Suarez.
In the summer 2015 Saara participated in the summercourse at Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London. There she was taught by Christophe Jeannot and Casper Kornish among other teachers. In Finland Saara has participated in courses organised by Tero Saarinen and Susanna Leinonen. Saara has also taken part in different dance festivals and competitions in Finland such as Kajaani dance and Performing Arts.
At the moment Saara is studying dance at the Tampere conservatory.
